Scheduled Maintenance Support

From remote visual inspections (RVI) to cleaning to foreign object search & retrieval (FOSAR), we can be on your site with experienced field technicians and the equipment necessary to support your routine maintenance service work. Our RVI services produce detailed inspection reports together with supporting imagery according to specific customer requirements and/or industry regulations needed to make an informed decision about the system condition, integrity and reliability.

Technology

From small to large openings and areas, Jamko has the remote visual inspection and cleaning equipment for each application. Our tooling selection can be as simple as a manual video probe to a fully automated robotic crawler. We will apply the technology that best suits the application while keeping both budget and scheduled requirements in mind.

Qualifications

Our field technicians have held or currently hold unrestricted access to Owner and Radiological Controlled Areas to various nuclear sites both domestically and globally.

Our organization has adopted a level of quality which addresses both the safety-centric model used in the U.S. nuclear industry, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, as well as the customer-centric model, ISO 9001:2000. Our QA program is independently audited on an annual basis. In addition, we have also participated in an audit by a member of the Nuclear Procurement Issues Committee (NUPIC) organization.

We offer more than just people. Our service professionals bring qualification, tooling, and the experience to make a difference to your project. We invest heavily in personnel training and equipment upgrades, making sure that what we bring and utilize is of the highest standard and quality. On an annual basis, our personnel undergo extensive tooling operation and maintenance training through proctored classroom sessions as well as hands on field work.

Visual Inspection VT level I, II, & III

All of our technicians are trained, tested and monitored on an annual basis under this quality protocol. With this cerification, the quality of our inspections and the report that we provide to you are consistent and accurate to a national recognized ASNT VT Levels standard.

Interaction among Non Destructive Technologies

Understanding the big picture is just as valuable and important as knowing our own NDT area of expertise. Visual Testing plays a role that helps and supports the other non destructive technology disciplines. We are one component used in the decision making process. OSHA Confined Space

Inaccessible areas as well as dangerous areas require unique training. We combine our general training with specific technology to help offset any risks and dangers that come wtih entering a confined space.

FBI background approved

Upon hire, all of our field service personnel undergo a compreshensive criminal, credit and educational background check conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Calibration

We reference the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) method of calibration to monitor and measure process, process inputs and process outputs.

Quantify

Our imaging systems conform to internationally recognized methods for quantifying resolution, distortion, and contrast. Below are the metrics and methodology used:

  1. Resolution: USAF 1951 test target, EIA 1956 video resolution target
  2. Image Distortion: 3 Frequency grid distortion target using chrome on glass
  3. Contrast: EIA grayscale pattern slide consisting of EIA Equal Steps Transmission (Linear) and EIA Equal Steps Density (Logarithmic)

As part of a planned outage, remote visual inspections used at the beginning to assess the component condition. After maintenance activites are complete, close out remote visual inspections can verfiy system integrity and the absence of foreign material.
